Symphonix Evolution 1.70 coming soon

Symphonix Evolution 1.70 has been submitted to iTunes for review so you should see it on the App Store in the next week or so.  In addition to the new lyrics editor we've added a number of other functions to help make it easier than ever to create music on your iPad.  As usual, many of the enhancements have come from feedback we receive in our support mailbox - Keep those suggestions coming, and don't forget to update your App Store reviews with each new version so other people can see what you think!

  1. Can't wait Don, the number of updates I keep getting for Symphonix Evolution is amazing - I don't know how you get the time to dedicate to this app but I am sincerely grateful! Something that I would like to see in the future is maybe a way of saving voice templates. Selecting voices on each track can sometimes be a little fiddly with the small (but beautifully formed!) menus of voices on each track, and (thankfully) there are many to choose from. Would it be possible to be able to call up templates of voices that could be set up - I suppose I can do it now by saving empty songs after setting up the tracks, but maybe something like presets or registrations where you could quickly choose your favourite sounds? The GM voice sets are great too, storms along on my ipad 2!

  2. That's not a bad idea, we'll certainly keep it in mind. I am already thinking about making the track selection and preset window a bit larger and making better use of the preset Banks to organise the display.
